Rumours of the new Sony PlayStation phone have been confirmed. The Xperia Play smartphone runs Google Android OS. Whether this is the new PSP or not, it was built with gaming as a primary function. Xperia Play boasts a multi-touch screen design, similar to iPhone, however the slideout gamepad it uses first appeared on the PSP go console. This PlayStation Certified phone can enable 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. Xperia Play is coming soon on pay as you and pay monthly plans. The games are only available to download from Sony, and they are non-transferable from PSP go.
