Gamers the world over are looking for the new UFC Undisputed 3 marital arts game. The game promises many changes–many more than this article can examine–but here are some of the main highlights that players will find in UFC Undisputed 3 on PlayStation 3.
Players will find brand new THQ servers that are used for online play. This version of the game debuts the Pride Mode which allows players to fight in the Japanese MMA organization. There are also changes in rules, ring, and fighters which includes a new system for submission. Many fighters will have enhanced movements as well as striking abilities. Note that this change will not apply to all fighters.
Of interest to many are the changes that were made in stats for offense and defense in ground grapple and footwork. There are also some changes in fighter entry graphics as well as some brand new animations for KO's. The 3 version will also offer players two options for gameplay: Pro and Amateur.
For those who are lucky to get the game, check out the new changes for damage recovery between fighting rounds. Also look into how cuts will affect overall stamina levels and the new changes to the energy recovery rate. One of the changes to stamina is that stamina will return only so much until the player is fully rested. Also, depletion of stamina levels will also affect the player's stats.
The new version also includes a lot of changes to fighting techniques as well. For instance, fighters will be able to avoid being knee hit to the head when in a clinch by closing the distance. The new version improves quick strikes, jabs and fighter combination punches.
Multi-players will love the new Camp option that creates a training camp where players can invite up to 16 others to join. Online players can also enjoy either quick match or custom match. All in all, the game promises to be one of the best of the year!
