Review
The newest incarnation of the Sonic gaming universe comes 20 years after the world first met the now-famous hedgehog. The new game, Sonic Generation, will appeal to Sonic fans both old and new.
Story: Run through the gauntlet of platforms collecting rings. Along the journey set free Animals which were captured by the Evil Dr Eggman, and have turned robotic. Find Dr Eggman's Lair, kick his evil ass. In Sonic time, this one is set five years after Sonic Colours. Sonic is celebrating his 20th Birthday with Tales & Amy, when chaos ensue the Land.
In Sonic Generation, Sonic's finds himself in the eye of the storm when a new forces comes into power. Sonic and his friends are transported back in time, where they meet some characters that fans of the franchise will no doubt recognize, including a younger version of the hedgehog himself. Their mission: to defeat their enemies and find out who is responsible for the dastardly deed.
Gameplay & Graphics:
What can you do in Sonic Generations? Well, there's two ways to play: Play as either classic Sonic or Modern Sonic, each with his own moves to master and unique tracks. Sonic comes to life in full high-definition on PS3 and XBox. The graphics and colours look great making the classic Sonic environments come to life in a whole new way. Have the ultimate Sonic adventure, where nostalgia meets the future! The results will amaze. What's more, players can enjoy Sonic's adventures through the game's classic environments in a whole new way. Sonic stages are now in stereoscopic 3D!
New adventures await, Sonic fans. Every time you complete a level and set Sonic's friends free, you unlock new adventures. You'll be able to go back and tackle new challenges with the help of your newly rescued friends. The possibilities are endless!
Players who remember Sonic from back-in-the-day will be pleased to know that in Sonic Generations, you will get to encouter (and hopefully defeat!) some of the most notorious rivals from the original games. Can you conquer them and reach the top? Can you master the famous Classic Sonic spin-dash attack move as well as the brand-new Modern Sonic's "Boost" move?
