Super Mario Galaxy
|
Eurogamer: Super Mario Galaxy is an embarrassment. It's an embarrassment for platform games. It's an embarrassment for adventure games. It's an embarrassment for Nintendo and an embarrassment for the Wii. What have we all been playing at in the ten years since Super Mario 64 came out? This is what gaming ought to be like... 10/10 -
Gamespot: The stellar presentation and fantastic level designs combine to make Super Mario Galaxy the Wii's game to beat and one of Mario's greatest adventures yet... 9.5/10
IGN: Mario may be short, but he's not short on starring roles in cherished Nintendo videogames. The iconic mascot's long resume features some of the greatest platformers to ever grace any home console or handheld, including hits like Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine... 9.7/10
Metacritic: The ultimate Nintendo hero is taking the ultimate step ... out into space. Join Mario as he ushers in a new era of video games, defying gravity across all the planets in the galaxy [Metacritic's 2007 Wii Game of the Year]... 9.7/10

Mario Strikers Charged Football
|
Eurogamer: It's easy to imagine why Mario Strikers came to be. There's a GameCube prequel for a start but on a deeper level, we know that Japan loves football almost as much as Britain. Japan also loves Mario and the combination is a match made in, well, Shigeru Miyamoto's liver spotted super brain. But then this isn't a game made in Japan, it's made in Vancouver
8/10 -
Gamespot: Mario's soccer sequel is a markedly more enjoyable game than its predecessor, especially for those who prefer the multiplayer arena.... 7.5/10
IGN: In much the same way that tomatoes aren't really vegetables, Mario Strikers isn't a football game. To be fair, it's barely a sports game either, in the traditional sense... 8.7/10 |

Punch-Out!
|
Eurogamer: They don't make 'em like they used to. It's a complaint made often enough about games but levelled more often these days at Nintendo - a company regarded by many as having abandoned its distinguished heritage, and having ignored its loyal audience in pursuit of the mass-market dollar. Whatever the merit of such criticism, it's hard not to view the Wii version of Punch-Out!! as a pointed response.
8/10 -
Gamespot: Punch-Out for the Wii isn't much different from the NES version, but it hardly matters when it's this much fun..... 8.5/10 |

|
Super Paper Mario
|
Eurogamer: The question has to be: Is there finally another must-have game for the Wii? But then of course it could be: Have Nintendo lived up to the reputation of the Paper Mario series? Or perhaps it's: Is it as funny as the GBA's Superstar Saga? Worry not, we'll address them all. Let's begin by trying to explain exactly what Super Paper Mario is. Which is no mean feat. It's not quite an RPG.
8/10 -
Gamespot: Punch-Out for the Wii isn't much different from the NES version, but it hardly matters when it's this much fun..... 8.8/10 |

|
Wii Sports
|
Eurogamer: No review
0/10 -
Gamespot: Wii Sports makes for an ideal pack-in with Nintendo's new console, providing some fun, simple gameplay that's accessible to almost anyone... 7.8/10 |

|
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
|
Eurogamer: No review.
0/10 -
Gamespot: Twilight Princess contains the same expertly designed puzzles and gameplay that you've come to expect, though parts of its presentation feel stuck in the past.... 8.9/10 |

|
Animal Crossing: City Folk
|
Eurogamer: No review.
0/10 -
Gamespot: City Folk offers more of the same Animal Crossing gameplay that you know and love, with the emphasis on "same."
.... 7.5/10 |

|
Mario Super Sluggers
|
Eurogamer: No review.
0/10 -
Gamespot: It's not another Mario sports gem, but Mario Super Sluggers still has a rough, unpolished appeal... 6.5/10
