Review

Mario Kart DS is a racing game in which a player races opponents as one of 13 characters, each with 13 machines to choose from. During racing, the Nintendo DS's top screen gives a third-person perspective of the player's machine, meanwhile the bottom touchscreen gives the placements. Track power-up items carried by a racer add a new twist to unpredictably of placements. In Mario Kart racers can go from last to first and vice versa, by clever power-ups and hazards scattered around a course. Simply driving trough a box collect the power-up. See also Mario Kart Wii
