He loses his ability to suck up enemies after landing in the enemy zone, called the Patch Land, where everything is made of yarn. Having lost his main weapon of swallowing up enemies, Kirby now has to rely on other abilities to emerge out of his situation. A whip like piece of yarn is what he uses here to match up to his enemies.
The game has a solid platform where you hold the Wii controller sideways and make use of two buttons most of the time. There is lot of action, jumping, running, and sliding, but the most creative aspect of Kirby 's Epic Yarn is Kirby 's ability to transform. He turns into almost everything, including a UFO and a surfing penguin.
