The Little Pink Ball Makes A Great Comeback
The comeback is quite evident and dramatic. After being the flagship character for Nintendo for many years, Kirby was somewhat forgotten as the little pink ball faded into the background for some time. However, with the Kirby 's Epic Yarn, the little imp is well and truly back with a bang. While the visual aesthetics may dazzle quite a few, the fantastic platform filled with stunningly creative ideas is what you should look out for.
In this game, Kirby 's is eyeing his favorite food, tomato, which belongs to the evil wizard Yin-Yarn. He loses his ability to suck up enemies after landing in the enemy zone, called the Patch Land, where everything is made of yarn. Having lost his main weapon of swallowing up enemies, Kirby now has to rely on other abilities to emerge out of his situation. A whip like piece of yarn is what he uses here to match up to his enemies.
The game has a solid platform where you hold the Wii controller sideways and make use of two buttons most of the time. There is lot of action, jumping, running, and sliding, but the most creative aspect of Kirby 's Epic Yarn is Kirby 's ability to transform. He turns into almost everything, including a UFO and a surfing penguin. You will have to use the Wiimote subtly and get into lots of motion control acts, such as tilting the controller or using the infrared pointer to draw on the screen.
Kirby 's Epic Yarn has 50 levels and numerous mini-games. It is possible to play with two people, with Price Fluff as the other character. The two of them can work in tandem in some truly innovative and interesting ways. The most appealing feature is the ability to travel to your partner if he or she is not able to keep up with the game. The game is cool, convenient, and zippy. Vibrant colors and peppy, cheerful tunes add to the overall fun element.
Kirby 's Epic Yarn is certainly an improvement on the earlier games with its new features and multiple features.
