Kinect Sports 2 features six new sports that include skiing, tennis, football, and golf. There are a few new gesture features available in the improved Kinect panel such as zooming down the fairway and some quality in-game voice support.

Playing tennis without a racquet can be quite a different experience but on Kinect you learn quickly how to play tennis without accessories. The game tracks your shoulder position so your serves are measured accurately through a speedometer and so is your amazing strength. The soundtrack is another great plus with the newer version of Kinect Sports Season 2. The winners are clearly ‘Faith’ from George Michael and that classic from Elton John, ‘I am still standing’.

Darts is another killer game in the Sports Season 2 and helps you aim with stunning accuracy. The board locks off once you lull your arm back. The software is designed to read a player's arm and shoulders. That is why it is important to have a stable arm. The dart game has different levels of difficulty and is truly a great way to exciting times.

There is no difficulty in playing multi player games in this improved version. Take baseball for instance. All you have to do is to assume a batter's stance. The game even recognizes the additional power that you put into your hit. Pitching is intuitive too. Kinect tracks the speed and the angle of your throw. You can play the game in multi-player mode too by taking turns pitching and batting. The controls are excellent and works like a dream once you get used to them.

The rest of the features are a definite improvement on what was offered in the first season. There is good advancement in many other areas like game play and controls.
