Microsoft has taken an old console and literally polished it, silenced it, WiFi enabled it, trimmed the fat, glossed it black, then re-released it dulled down in matte black as a repackaged model: called Xbox 360 S. Kinect has certainly attributed to the console going from strength to strength.
