Kindle Touch: Touchscreen e-Reader with Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display
If you're purchasing a device primarily for reading, an important consideration is the screen technology. Unlike devices with LCD screens, Kindle e-readers use the latest generation of Electronic Ink ("E Ink") technology – E Ink Pearl – designed specifically to deliver clearer, sharper text that makes reading for extended periods of time more comfortable. Here are some of the advantages to reading on an E Ink device:

The Kindle Touch is the company's latest foray into the e-reader market. This version is affordable, offering many new features that make it fun and easy to use.

Improvements Include
Easy-to-use touchscreen
Amazon Kindle Touch is the company's latest foray into the e-reader market. The Kindle Touch, as the name suggests, features touch-screen operation. Use the touch screen to turn the pages in an e-book, make selections, and even make annotations on what you are reading, quickly and easily. This version is affordable, offering many new features that make it fun and easy to use. Features include:
EasyReach technology
This is a new feature to the Kindle line of e-readers. Now, users can turn pages with just a tap, rather than a swipe. What difference does that make? It means you can hold the Kindle in either your left or your right hand and still easily turn the page, making the Kindle Touch more user friendly for left-handed users.
Bigger capacity
The Kindle Touch can hold a whopping 3,000 books! That means you can fit a whole library of books into this one compact device, allowing you to carry a selection of books with you everywhere you go.
Low-glare screen
One of the biggest challenges with e-readers is that it can be difficult to read them in bright, direct sunlight. The Kindle Touch addresses that issue with its state-of-the-art E-Ink technology. The high-contrast screen prevents glare and makes the screen appear more like real paper. The Kindle Touch can be as easily read in direct sunlight as indoors.
Wi-Fi capacility
The Kindle Touch has built-in WiFi capability. That means you can connect to a wireless network anywhere there is wireless network hotspot. The fast wiresless connection allows for quick operation.
Compact size
The Kindle Touch is small and light, with a stylish design. As with previous Kindle versions, the screen on the Touch is six inches in size. This version, however, is much lighter, weighing in at under 8 ounces.
Text-to-speech
One of the handiest features of the Kindle Touch is the text-to-speech capability. Instead of reading the content of your e-books, you can have the e-book read to you. This is useful for children who cannot yet read, the visually impaired or anyone on the go who wants to enjoy a good book while driving.
Huge library
Kindle offers an amazing array of reading materials, including books, newspapers and magazines. Some are even free! What's more, with a membership to the Amazon Prime, you can borrow thousands of titles free of charge.
Long battery life
The Kindle Touch features a long battery life. With the wireless turned off, users can expect to get approximately 2 months of battery life, assuming a moderate amount of reading per day.
