Horrid Henry's Horrid Adventure (Nintendo DS)
After Horrid Henry's appearance on ‘Missions of Mischief’, a complete game based on Horrid Henry is out on the Nintendo DSi. This game is a fantasy based game suitable for all ages and guaranteed to give you hours of fun and entertainment.
The game pretty much sticks to the brand and style brought forward by the Horrid Henry comics. It offers three fantasy worlds that you can choose to explore in the game. The fantasy part of the game is more realistic and you can take Henry to various locations and places where his imagination turns into reality. This feature allows for a nice expansion of the game.
After you cross each level you will encounter end of level bosses which are actually characters from the comic itself. The game play provides you with a number of lively obstacles and enemies that you have to get through. You can make Henry run, jump, climb or swim as you take him through the course. The player has a choice of three weapons that Henry can use to help him along the way. The game is as always acquisition based, you have to collect bonus points and so on as you play to unlock new levels, weapons and other features of the games.
The game is a true adaptation of the comic book as the game goes forward in comic book sequence. The story, levels all go forward in this sequence introducing you to new characters and levels as you move Henry from one world to another.
The unique features of the game play are clear in one of the weapons where you can blow through the microphone to attack! Yes blow as in breathe into the microphone. Another unique feature is the dual screen game play that allows you to skip from one world to another seamlessly.
Horrid Adventure Story: "Moody Margaret (Henry's arch enemy) has stolen Henry's toys, and even worse! His prized Purple Hand Gang Flag! It's not fair!. Run, swim, climb, jump and ride as you travel through multiple sets of fantasy themed levels, learning new abilities as you go. Encounter strange enemies as you travel across the Evil Empire, Lovely Land and Pirate Island, all based on the Horrid Henry brand. "
