Guitar Hero 6: Warriors of Rock (Wii) – Coming This September 2010
This September, the Guitar Hero 6: Warriors of Rock promises to raise the franchise in some exciting and interesting ways, but with the same familiar foundation that every player loves – a great journey to save rock. The game would be introduced with a whopping collection of more than ninety songs on a disc that includes a brand-new entry of "Sudden Death" by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine.
Warriors of Rock will feature some of the major musical powers including Queen, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Kiss, The Rolling Stones, and so on. The most awaited addition of this year's launch would be the Quest Mode. The first of its kind – a story-based adaptation of a game where players would be given the tasks of "saving the rock" or "release the demigod of rock." The tasks would be accomplished through a journey with new songs and tougher challenges, simultaneously unlocking new band members. They would also feature the "Party Play" – a favorite among the game lovers. In the "Party Play," as the players jump in and out for giving a shot, the song is played automatically. Also, a "Quickplay+" would be there for Guitar Challenges.
All the previous characters of the Guitar Hero series would be introduced with new Warrior forms. These forms get unlocked as and when you progress through the story. For each song in the game, there would be a minimum of thirteen challenges. A player would compete to fight against these challenges by utilizing the new Warrior forms. These different forms can change the gameplay by offering additional scoring benefits when they get transformed.
Guitar Hero 6: Warriors of the Rock runs on the powerful Guitar Hero© engine that has been expanded to offer more fun and excitement to the players. Competitive modes and ability to use the combination of up to four instruments in the game offer interactive experience of getting together with friends on stage for the ultimate rock music experience.
