Dragon Quest IX is a fully immersive role play adventure, with a strong storyline. You will really need to get in to character in this game as you customise your character using a wide variety of pre-set features to produce your own unique Angel, hair & eye colour clothes and many more features. The story for this game involves an array battling in an attempt to protect your village and gain ‘star auras’. The battling mode in Dragon Quest IX will allow you to attack, defend, cast a spell use items or flee but in addition to these features you may, use a ‘combo system’ where you can chain consecutive regular attacks on an enemy, each attack sees a cumulative multiplier applied to it.
