Bioshock 2 has a tough act to follow after the massive success of Bioshock (2007 Xbox 360). Bioshock went beyond run-and-gun tactics introducing a new level of AI to FPS. Set in the darkness of the 1960s equipped with a revolver, is the complete opposite of HALO; Weapons were upgradeable, by a factor of two increasing the firepower for a dozen or so rounds of ammo.  The locations within the underwater City of Rapture when demolished make an authentic abyss. Bioshock 2 promises to surprise you just as much as the first did, with the clever twists in the story and of course depending on which of moral choices you ventured gave us three possible endings.

Bioshock 2 set ten years after the events of Bioshock 1, has many changes, one of the biggest is who you play – a genetic prototype of “Big Daddy”.  This puts a new slant on the relationship with “Little Sisters” who you adopt and have a strange partnership with along the journey. Little Sisters can help you to locate and collect ADAM. Playing a Big Daddy equipped with the drill weapon, plus fireball from hand, and of course wearing the diving suite allows you to venture out into the ocean, also remembering a Big Daddy’ superior strength means you now have to go against harder enemies – enter the “Big Sisters”
